Today’s dish is one that constantly reminds me of home. While not technically a fully Korean dish, jjajangmyeon, or black bean noodles, are an essential food from my childhood memories – mixing the noodles to distribute the sauce, asking the server to cut the noodles to make them easier to eat, pulling the long strands with my chopsticks and quickly eating a large mouthful.
Like with most of my Korean cooking, I use a variation of Maangchi’s recipe, with a few tweaks. Watch me make these noodles on my TikTok!
